PureHomeLab is reader-supported. When you buy something through a link on this site, I may earn a small fee from the retailer at no extra cost to you. Here’s how that works and what it does and doesn’t affect.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
How This Works
PureHomeLab is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. If you click a product link here and buy it, or sometimes anything else in that shopping session, Amazon pays a small percentage of the sale to this site. No brand pays for a placement or a review.
What It Costs You
Nothing. The price is the same whether you use a link on this site or search Amazon yourself.
How We Pick What to Recommend
I compare listed specs, manufacturer information and named outside sources such as Consumer Reports, the EPA and the CDC rather than running lab tests. Where I’ve used a product myself, the post says so. A product doesn’t get picked because of what Amazon might pay for it.
If a product I’ve recommended is discontinued, drops in quality, or has a documented safety or failure problem, I update the post.
Other Programs
Right now, Amazon Associates is the only affiliate program PureHomeLab uses. If that changes, this page gets updated to reflect it.
